FOCUS
Samantha is an associate in the Medical Malpractice Defense Litigation Group. She has written and argued substantive motions, taken depositions, presented medical personnel for deposition, and second chaired her first case at trial in April 2008, resulting in a verdict for the defendant hospital. Samantha brings innovative solutions to clients, with a focus on applying the most recent Illinois Court decisions coupled with a cost-effective analysis.
EDUCATION
Samantha graduated cum laude from Loyola University Chicago in 2002 with a B.S. in Political Science. Samantha earned her Juris Doctor from the John Marshall Law School in 2007, where she placed in various national mock trial advocacy competitions including the Georgetown White Collar Crime Competition in Washington D.C. and the National Trial Competition in Champaign, Illinois. During the summer of 2006, she worked as an intern at the Attorney General’s Office in Dublin, Ireland where she focused on international civil litigation and attended classes at University College Dublin.
INTERESTS
Samantha serves as an assistant coach for Loyola University Chicago Law School's national trial team. The team earned first place in its regional competition in 2010.
