Meghann A. Salamasick is an associate attorney with Lowis & Gellen who concentrates her practice in commercial litigation and corporate transactions. She focuses primarily on representation of creditors in litigation and transactions related to defaults, workout strategies, foreclosure, and restructures of commercial financing, including transactions involving both real estate and business asset collateral.
Meghann is a 2009 graduate of Notre Dame Law School, cum laude, and served as a volunteer attorney with the Chicago Park District. She has prior experience with securities litigation, products liability litigation, labor and employment litigation, and related employee-benefits matters. Meghann also gained experience with corporate transactions while working with Discover Financial Services while they separated from Morgan Stanley to become a publicly traded company.
Ms. Salamasick is admitted to practice in Illinois. She received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology, with a minor in French, from Northwestern University. She is conversationally fluent in French.
