Mr. Satterlee concentrates his practice on personal injury litigation, with an emphasis on coordinating general liability defense programs for publicly-traded and privately-held retailers and manufacturers. Mr. Satterlee also serves as lead counsel for healthcare professional liability matters throughout Arizona. Mr. Satterlee is an experienced litigator and has taken cases to verdict inside and outside of Arizona. He has experience in claims management, risk management, and every facet of litigation. Mr. Satterlee works closely with in-house legal and risk teams to implement cost-effective litigation strategies as well as consistent and uniform case-handling throughout the United States.
Additionally, Mr. Satterlee has a broad range of experience litigating high-profile aviation crash cases throughout Arizona and beyond. Recent cases include a mid-air helicopter collision involving two medical transport helicopters in Flagstaff, Arizona; resolution of a tragic airplane crash case into the Superstition Mountains; and a multiple fatality plane crash case in Nashville, Tennessee, among others.
As a result of his legal accomplishments, Mr. Satterlee has been recognized every year for the last 6 years as a “Rising Star” by Southwest Super Lawyers, a peer-reviewed honor limited to the top 2.5% of lawyers under 40-years-old.
Outside of work, Mr. Satterlee dedicates a significant amount of time to fundraising and raising awareness for pediatric cancer.
Mr. Satterlee also devotes time to consulting with insurance agents and brokers throughout Arizona in an effort to minimize risk in their professional capacities and ensure they have systems in place to properly educate and inform their clients about insurance coverage and options.
Mr. Satterlee graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where he was a Pedrick Scholar. Mr. Satterlee graduated from Barrett, the Honors College at ASU, with high honors, with degrees in Economics and Finance. As an undergraduate, Mr. Satterlee was named an Elroy and Virgilia Clarke Scholar, Honeywell Scholar, Rodel Community Scholar, Hispanic Business Alumni Scholar, and Wells Fargo Scholar in Business.
